He had the same blazing green eyes he always used to have and the only thing that had changed, in Tanjiro’s opinion, was his brash behaviour. He had short black hair with a blue tint near the ends and his fringe was all the same, but the strands in front of his ears were longer. “His sword?” The older man, maybe about 25, turned around to inspect it. He had black hair and was in the demon slayer uniform. “Hey, sensei, why is Hashira Tanjiro’s sword here?” One kid asked. Sighing heavily, he decided to make his way out of the canopy covered forest, trying his best to find the way out with little sunlight guiding him.Įventually, he made it out of the forest to find some kid had picked up his sword. He then realised he didn’t have his sword on him and frantically looked around, but to no avail, it was nowhere to be seen. “What?” He said to himself as he carefully stood up and brushed off the dirt on his uniform. His friends weren’t there, nor was the demon. The red head opened one eye and then opened the other in shock. He only heard the soft chirps of the birds and the hearty laughs of some ten-year olds. Zenitsu yelled with fear, Inosuke snarled with irritation and swore with anger while Tanjiro merely cursed under his breath and focused on his breathing.Īnother second later, Tanjiro no longer heard the gruff curses of Inosuke, or the panicked screams of Zenitsu. Dust and smoke filled his vision and he had to close his eyes quickly to avoid the dust entering his eyes. His sword missed the target and he risked a glance at Tomioka who was now running towards him. “Be careful! It’s using a blood demon technique!” He heard Tomioka say, a fair distance away from the whole fight. Tanjiro got ready to strike when, in that split second his sword met with the flesh, the demon whipped its head around, revealing its bright crimson red eyes. He could see the string that attached itself to the skinny neck that belonged to the demon. “HA!I ain’t taking orders from my underling!” Despite saying this, the feral teen ran to the right of the demon, leaving Tanjiro to unsheathe his sword and sprint for the demon’s back. Inosuke growled with frustration as he shot Tanjiro a glare – even though said boy couldn’t see it due to the boar mask of Inosuke’s face. Zenitsu gave a cry as he shakily ran to the left of the demon. I’ll hit it from behind.” The teen in the checkered haori called from behind a tree, ready to attack the demon in front of him.
